New Processor Partners Join Canada Pork
Canada Pork International (CPI) is pleased to announce that five CPI members have joined Canada Pork: ATRAHAN Transformation inc., Aliments Lucyporc, F. Ménard/Agromex inc., L.G. Hébert Ltée and Winkler Meats Ltd. are now part of Canada’s National Pork Marketing program.
The Canada Pork team welcomes the new partners and looks forward to working with to support their domestic marketing programs and extending the Verified Canadian Pork™ (VCP) national branding strategy into the Quebec marketplace.
New processor partners for Canada Pork means additional capacity for VCP supply partners and their customers, supporting Canada's national branding strategy of Farm-to-Table quality assurance systems. “Canada Pork’s VCP partner programs provide the opportunity to support the building of premium brands by utilizing the VCP platform,” says Michael Young, VP Technical Programs and Marketing Services, Canada Pork International.

Canada Pork Videos
In the last issue of CPI in Action, Canada Pork announced a new series of videos featuring Chef Jonathan Collins and the Verified Canadian Pork™ (VCP) brand. Members of Canada Pork were invited to customize the videos for use on their own websites and social media channels.
This resulted in Canada Pork partnering on eight projects to co-brand the videos for participating VCP producers, processors, and their end-user customers. Custom videos were created using the logos of the following brands/members:
① Manitoba Pork
② Alberta Pork
③ Saskatchewan Pork Development Board
④ P.E.I. Hog Commodity Marketing Board
⑤ Conestoga Meat Packers Ltd.
⑥ Primrose Farms
⑦ Savoury Choice
⑧ Sakura Farms Premium Pork
