Business to Business (B2B) communication is an important component of any business strategy. Businesses reach out to their clients and partners to deliver information, build relationships, provide ideas and launch new products, and most importantly, to position their company as leaders and experts in their industry.

Regularly scheduled e-newsletters or bulletins are a great way to stay in touch. But remember, keep it short, tell them the topic for each article “above the fold” and make sure the content offers them information they can use....not just another sales pitch.

Here are samples of printed newsletters promoting Canadian beef to three different audiences: grocery retailers, foodservice operators and foodservice distributors. Printed newsletters are read more like magazines and allow for longer articles, more copy and technical information.

The dated links take you to electronic newsletters developed to promote Canadian beef to the US market. Electronic newsletters are read online and need to be short and to the point, utilizing links to take the reader to other web pages for more information.
