Dear CPI members and industry partners,
With the challenges of 2013 behind us, we can look ahead to a positive picture for 2014.
In the coming year, CPI anticipates developing new opportunities for Canadian pork in both existing and new markets. Our continuing goal is to work with members, clients, importers, end-users and consumers abroad to build demand for our product.
We are confident of concluding the negotiations for a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between Canada and Japan as well as a Free Trade Agreement between Canada and South Korea. This gives us much to look forward to in 2014.
