The Embassy of Canada in Moscow organized a food promotion event in Yerevan in January. Representatives of the Armenian HORECA (hospitality industry) and meat production sector were introduced to Canadian food products including meat, seafood and wine.
The event hosted representatives from the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture, the meat production sector, hotels, restaurants and catering services. Guests had the opportunity to try delicious high quality Canadian food including pork, Angus beef, shrimp and other seafood, and wines from different regions of Canada. A culinary professional invited from Moscow informed guests about the specific tastes of Canadian foods and the regions that produce each of them.
The guests enjoyed the high quality Canadian pork sponsored by Canada Pork International.
