![]() Canada Pork International participated at Japan’s Supermarket Trade Show in February. The show, held in Tokyo, had 90,581 visitors—a seven per cent increase over the previous year. The CPI booth promoted Canadian pork loin and collar butt blocks (500g) to retailers. The versatility of Canadian pork was highlighted. Cooking demonstrations held daily showcased how to cook pork in the microwave for easy cooking and optimum enjoyment—retailers were given the suggestion to promote this to their customers. ![]() Many supermarket buyers visited the booth with a positive response to the display and the information provided.
