The 2015 Canadian Food Festival was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on November 10 to promote Canada’s best products to Vietnam.

Organized by the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam, the event features premium Canadian food and beverage products including pork, beef, and a wide range of seafood including lobster, oyster, black cod, snow crab, salmon and mussels. Canadian wines, beer and maple syrup are also featured.

CPI sponsored the launch reception where Canadian pork along with a wide range of Canadian products were showcased to more than 100 local importers, chefs, food and beverage managers from five-star hotels, and the media. Select Canadian products will also be promoted at participating restaurants and stores until the end of the month. This type of promotional activity helps Vietnamese consumers understand the quality of Canadian food ingredients and encourages them to include the products in Vietnam’s fine dining culture and culinary traditions.

The event will run through December 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.
